JULIANNA V. WELFEL DI MARTINO, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the age of 81 years. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband; Carmen J., Sr. Julianna was a dedicated loving wife and mother. She enjoyed a life of family and friends. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. Daughter of the late John and Madeline Welfel. Loving mother of Karen A. Bonica and her husband Donald of Toms River, NJ, Gail Costa and her husband Andrew of Versailles, KY and Carmen J. DiMartino, Jr. and his wife Sharon of South Hackensack, NJ. Cherished grandmother of Lauren D. Sylvester and her husband Andrew, Michael S. Bonica, Renee C. Gage and her husband Samuel, David A. Costa and his wife Amanda, Lindsey and Brandon DiMartino. Great grandmother of Brady, Mac, and Knox Gage and Jackson Costa. She is survived by a brother Charles and a sister Laura. Sister to the late John, Sr., Albert, Emma (Kitty) Birchenough and William The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 25th, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. at 11:00 AM. with entombment following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 - 9 PM. Memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave, Denville, NJ 07834 or Van Dyke Hospice Program, 99 Hwy 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755 would be appreciated.
