Obituary of James V. English

James V. English, of Hackensack, formerly of Bloomfield, died on Friday, May 5, 2006, at Prospect Heights Care Center in Hackensack at the age of 81 years. Prior to retiring, he worked for Local # 153 of Jersey City and New York. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Bloomfield Council. Predeceased by his wife Mary Crowe English who died in 2002, he is survived by two brothers, Robert English of Middletown, Joseph English of Hackensack, and two sisters, Helen Dull of Hague, Virginia and Marylyn Hoffman of Hackensack. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon with prayers by Reverend Joseph Cheng at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 29 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601, would be appreciated.
