Obituary of Marie Feoranz- Zinzi

MARIE FEORANZ-ZINZI, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2011, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 84 years. A lifelong resident of Hackensack, Marie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Davis and Elkins College and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education from New York University. She was a Senior Editor of Mathematics for Holt, Rinehart and Winston and was a High School Mathematics Teacher in Lodi, River Dell, and Tenafly school systems. At the end of her retirement in 1991, Marie was a Freelance Mathematics Editor. Marie was a devout member of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack, Treasurer of the Trinity Leisure Club for several years, and a member of the Rosary Society. Marie was also past President of the Columbiettes of Trinity Council and past President of Central Chapter Columbiettes. Beloved wife of the late Pasquale (Pat) Zinzi (2003). Devoted daughter of the late Sarah & Frank Feoranz. Dearest sister of the late Frank J. Feoranz, Sarah Manzo, and Anna Condon. Adoring Aunt of Deborah Feoranz-Sudol, Denise Stabile, the late Frank J. Feoranz, Jr., Joseph Manzo, William Feoranz and James Manzo. Great Aunt to Desiree Pentz, Julianna Manzo and Jessica Manzo. Loving Step-Mother to Jeanne Earl and Patricia Rambowski. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 13th, at 10:00AM, at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, with burial following at Hackensack Cemetery. Visiting will be Monday, from 3-5 and 7-9PM,.
