ANTHONY ARRABITO, of Fair Lawn, died on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, at the age of 95 years. Born in Hackensack, he resided in Woodcliff Lake, and has lived in Fair Lawn for 30 years. He had worked for Elm Dairy Farms of Hackensack and prior to retiring he worked for the Woodcliff Lake Board of Education. He was an auxiliary police officer and volunteer firefighter for the town of Woodcliff Lake. An Air Force veteran of World War II, he was an active participant of D-Day. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Bellucci) Arrabito. Dearest brother of Mary Damiano, and the late Josephine Stamilla, John Arrabito and Salvatore (Sam) Arrabito. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews and the late John Arrabito, Jr.The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 16th, at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 9:30 AM with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. in Hackensack. Visiting will be on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
