Obituary of Ruben D. Funes

RUBEN D. FUNES, of Wayne, died on Monday, June 9, 2008, at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital in Wayne, at the age of 65 years. Born in Honduras, he came to this country in 1963 settling in Brooklyn. He lived in Hackensack and Lodi before coming to Wayne a year ago. He was a building Superintendent for Goldberg Realty of Wayne. Prior to that he worked for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises of Hackensack. He is survived by his wife Estella Hernandez, three daughters, Mirian, Maribel and Yomaira all of Lodi, his grandchildren, Justin, Melanie, and Alexa, two sisters, Maria Elena Ramos and Mirian Funes, and six brothers, Rolando, Manuel, Roberto, Jorge, Mario, and Alfredo. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, June 13th, at 12:00 Noon at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. with cremation following at Cedar Lawn Crematory in Paterson. Visiting will be on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
