EMMA MAZZA RUTA, a lifelong resident of Hackensack, died on Monday, November 24, 2008, at her home, at the age of 94 years. Prior to retiring, she was a seamstress for Lyndhurst Coat Factory. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church. Beloved wife of the late Nunzio Ruta. Devoted mother of Josephine Noto of Westwood, Vincent Ruta and his companion Marion Van Blarcum of Emerson, and Sadie Herbert of Westwood. Loving grandmother of Diane, Maria, Robert, Susan, Laurie, Linda and James. Cherished great grandmother of Brittaney, Bryan, Lindsey, Daniel, Kristin, Gregg Michael, Connor, Jason and Tyler. Dearest sister of Anthony Mazza and his wife Antoinette of Delaware and the late Josephine, Carmen, Sam and John Mazza. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 29th, at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. in Hackensack. Visiting will be on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Memorial donations to the Hackensack Hospice Program, 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be appreciated.
