Obituary of Giuseppa Genovese

GIUSEPPA GENOVESE (nee Firullo), of Stafford, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2013, at the age of 77 years. Born in Ragusa, Italy she came to this country in 1963 settling in Hackensack and lived in Little Ferry for 30 years prior to coming to Stafford in 2006. Prior to retiring, she worked at Goldberg's Slipper Factory in Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Genovese and the late Francesco Genovese. Devoted mother of Alexander Genovese and his wife Naome of Stafford, Virginia. Cherished grandmother of Camellia. Dearest sister of George Firullo and his wife Giovanna of Little Ferry, Maria Barone and her husband Salvatore of Coral Springs, Florida, Carmela Artuso, Graziale Firullo, Frances Parisi and Pepo Firullo all of Italy. The funeral on Saturday at 8:45 AM from the Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with entombment following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
