Obituary of Marceil H. Jackson

MARCEIL H. DORSEY JACKSON , of Hacknesack passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at the age of 87 years. Prior to retiring she was a librarian at the Johnson's Free Public Library in Hackensack. Previously she worked as a librarian in the New York City Library System. She was a member of the New Life Ministry of Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Clarence "Jack" Jackson. Dearest sister of the late Dr. Beverly Roscoe Dorsey. Loving sister in law of Dr. Beverly Hosten Dorsey. She is also survived by nieces, Dr. Adrienne Celeste Dorsey Wheeler and Jeannine Michele Thomas, grand nephews Zachary Paul Thomas, William Dorsey Wheeler and Seth Emmanuel Thomas and numerous cousins, her loving friend Gwendolyn Y. McLoud and many other friends and relatives throughout the area and Binghamton, NY. Visiting at the funeral home will be on Wednesday, October 10th, from 3 - 7 PM with religious services at 6 PM. A graveside committal service will be held at the convenience of the family at Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City, NY.
