Obituary of Catherine E. Kaptur

CATHERINE E. KAPTUR, (nee Burke) of Clinton, MD formerly of Waldorf, MD and Hackensack, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the age of 93. She had worked as a Bookkeeper for Randa Neck Wear in Hackensack. She was a parishioner and member of the Rosary Society at Church of the Immaculate Conception, Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late John Joseph Kaptur (2001). Loving Mother of Ronald J. Kaptur Sr. of Clinton, MD. Cherished grandmother of Michelle Morrison of Chesapeake, VA and her husband Scott (First Class Petty Officer, serving on the USS Eisenhower) and Ronald J. Kaptur Jr., DVM and his wife Jean Anne Kaptur, DVM of Ames Iowa. Great grandmother of Ryan Meyer, Katylin Morrison, Cole E. Kaptur and Reese E. Kaptur. Dearest sister of Joseph E. Burke of Ramsey, Anna Johnston of Hackensack, Patricia Carucci of Hackensack, Edward Burke of Delaware and the late Helen LaSpina and Elizabeth Rose. Catherine is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday July 5, 2012 at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 4th from 2 – 4 PM for visitation at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ.
