Obituary of Isabelle Killian
ISABELLE PRANSKEVICH KILLIAN of Hackensack passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, March, 9, 2013, at the age of 92 years. She was born in St. Clairsville, Ohio, raised in Ashley, Pa., and moved to Jersey City in the 1930s and Hackensack in 1953. She worked as a bookkeeper in a career that started with E. Joseph and Sons in Lower Manhattan in the 1940s and culminated at Motor Age in Hackensack in the 1970s. She was a devoted wife to the late Charles C. Killian Jr. She showered great love on her daughter, Karen Nathanson and her husband, Robert of Glen Rock, son, Kevin Killian and his wife, Colette of Hillsdale, along with grandchildren, Erika and Rebecca Nathanson, and Christopher, Michael, and Matthew Killian. She was a loving "Aunt Isabelle" to numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ada Wardo and Blanche Berch, and brothers, John, Anthony, and Albert Pranskevich. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, followed by closing services at Hackensack Cemetery. Visiting will be on Friday evening from 7-9.
