Obituary of Charles D. Kuchar

CHARLES D. KUCHAR, of Hackensack, died on Wednesday October 21, 2009 at the age of 78 years. Born in Jersey City, Charles was a resident of Hackensack where he owned and operated the Charlemaree Tavern for over forty six years. He was a Veteran of United States Marines, a member of the American Legion Post #0170 of Rochelle Park, Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post 5335, member of the Hackensack Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #16, B.P.O. Elks Lodge #658, member of the Knights of Columbus Trinity Council #747 and a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack. Charles was predeceased by his brother John Kuchar and sister Mary Brupbaker and is survived by his brother Peter Kuchar, nieces and nephews Peter Kuchar, Michael Kuchar Maria Link, David Kuchar, Cynthia Manni, Claire Psaros, his friend and business manager Raymond Catogge, as well as 13 grand nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 26th. at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM with burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. Memorial donations to The American Heart Association, 1 Union Street Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 would be appreciated.
