Roger and I graduated Hackensack High together in 1963. In 1965 we were both drafted and wound up in the same Army unit and did all our training together and then sent to Vietnam together along with another HHS classmate, Dave Gaige.
Rog had his guitar in Vietnam and I remember some nostalgic nights when we were able to get a couple of drinks and hang out with him playing.
As a brother combat veteran I will always remember him.
From this day to the ending of the world
But we in it shall be remembered;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he today that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother;
