Obituary of Roger J. Helmer

ROGER J. HELMER of Rochelle Park, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the age of 72 years. He was a life member of the VFW of Saddle Brook and American Legion #170 of Rochelle Park. Roger was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Army from 1969 through 1971. He was an avid golfer. Beloved husband of Nancy A. (nee Obermaier) for 38 years. Loving father of Kathy A. Camacho and her husband Carmelo of Rochelle Park. Cherished grandfather of Justin Camacho. Dearest brother of Robert Helmer of Florida and the late Eugene Helmer. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 13th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM for visitation. Cremation will be private.
