Obituary of Reverend Damian Colicchio I.V.Dei

Reverend Damian Colicchio I.V.Dei, of Lodi, formerly of Hackensack, Andover and Passaic, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the age of 85 years. Born in Hoboken to the late John and Millie Colicchio, Reverend Damian entered the Capuchin Friary in 1954 and was ordained March 24, 1962. He was a former pastor at St. Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack from 1980 – 1985, and a former pastor at St. Anthony R.C. Church in Passaic from 1987 – 1992, In 1998 he entered the Voluntas Dei Institute (I.V.Dei) and served as Director of Campus Ministry and a Teacher at Felician University for almost three decades. Cherished cousin of Peter and Rose Marie Calabrese. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at St. Francis R.C.
