Dad,
I was planning to bring you home again Monday to be with us again.
We talked on Saturday about many things. How much better you were feeling and how we were going to spend the summer together doing things. I stayed as much as I could with you. Then before I left you told me how much you loved me. I said I love you too and kissed you on your forehead while holding your hand. I said that I would be back at 10am on fathers day. You said do not forget. I will not I replied. You left us at 9 am. I never got to see you one last time.
You were a wonderful father and friend to me. We did a lot of things together. I will always remember what you said and what you taught me in life.
Even though I miss you a lot. I know its now time for you to rest and be with mom again. You missed her very much.
