Maria was such a wonderful Phys Ed teacher at Bleshman. Always bringing joy and fun to the kids, always giving of herself. May her family know how much she was loved by her work colleagues and the students, and may they find peace in their own happy memories of life with her.

We spent a lot of time together when our kids were young, swimming, picnicing, and camping. But my favorite memory is when Maria and I participated in the walk for MS. We started at Overpeck County Park in Leonia, and we were determined to make it over the George Washington Bridge. We did! And then back to the Jersey side where John picked us up in Fort Lee. Kenny had dinner ready for all of us when we got home. We were sore and tired for two days! Robin

Where do I begin. Maria was my school buddy that I met at the Norman Bleshman school. We were both teachers and loved to dance! We had many laughs creating dances with our students to perform in many shows we put on at school. I will forever be grateful for all the times we worked together in creating performance with our students. She was not only my colleague but she was my friend. I will miss her dearly and know that my memories will last forever. Love you my friend❤️

I have such wonderful memories of being friends since seventh grade. When we got to high school I was a pony and she was a cheerleader. We always shared that spirit. Her spirit will always shine bright in all of our wonderful memories.

My most funniest memory. It was before we had children. Went to Carlvers lake on a boat n I took the steering wheel off. Maira freaked out trying to put back. As it was heading back to shore. She always told that story. I can still hear her telling everyone. Beautiful soul. Will be greatly missed. ❤️Teri
